Site Development

Site Development
Heritage Ranch is located at 20090 Tucker Road, just east of Zachary, in East Baton Rouge Parish.  It is a beautiful 52 acre piece of property which currently houses two family homes, a barn, and a covered arena. All the necessary zoning has been secured. The site plan (see below) is designed for 10 residential homes that will serve approximately 60 youth. In addition to the 10 residential homes, there will be 3 staff homes, a learning center, administrative & counseling center, chapel, and living quarters for interns. The property will also include a recreation and pavilion area for gatherings as well as play courts where the youth can exercise and participate in a variety of recreational activities. The front 12 acres of the property will remain green space, as will the rear 13 acres, giving the property that true rural pastoral setting. There is a 150 foot natural buffer on the north and a 150 foot natural buffer on the south. This site plan is a perfect match for the existing low density, rural and agriculture environment that currently exists and is perfectly suited to meet the needs of our program and the young people we will serve.
